Purpose:

  • Provide a means of mutual exchange of concerns and ideas in the many and multifaceted profession of operation management on the campus of Bellevue University
  • Promote an on-campus educational program for the certification exams

  • Promote social and cultural exchange among the Chinese community and other cultural and social groups on campus and locally
  • Serve as student life point of contact and provide information and services to Chinese students and scholars, especially to newcomers
  • Organize festival celebrations, cultural events, sport activities and other small gatherings in order to enrich the lives of Chinese students

Purpose:

  • Promote interest in aspiring educators interested in education
  • Provide members with opportunities for developing personal growth and professional competence
  • Provide opportunities for gaining an understanding of the history, ethics, and programs of the education profession
  • Provide opportunities for participating in cooperative work on the problems of the profession and the community
  • Provide professional membership on the local, state and national levels during the preparation period for a career in education
  • Provide opportunities for service to the community

Purpose:

  • Enhance the online experience by acknowledging, encouraging and connecting distant learners to their University and other members of the ONL community
  • Provide exclusive member benefits of social and leadership opportunities such as, but not limited to, virtual networking, annual scholarship awards and job shadow openings
  • This National Honor Society is exclusively for online students who have demonstrated high academic achievement- Students that have completed 15 hours of online study with a GPA of 3.2 will receive an invitation to join
  • One-time $65 membership fee that provides students official certification, ONL crest lapel pin, crest decal, honor cords and ongoing scholarship* and national networking opportunities

  • Recognize and honor the academic achievement of student veterans
  • Encouraging excellence in scholarship, leadership, and community service
  • Some of the terms synonymous with SALUTE are to acknowledge, congratulate, hail, pay homage, pay respects, pay tribute, present arms, and recognize- These are the types of things we at SALUTE hope to do for our members who have shown courage, strength, leadership, excellence, and perseverance in their military endeavors and now are showing that same commitment to their academic careers

  • Membership in the Sigma Beta Delta Chapter at Bellevue University is available to students in the MBA (Master of Business Administration), BSBA/BADM (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration), and BSA (Bachelor of Science in Accounting)
  • Encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management, and administration
